I've been a professional photographer and videographer in the Detroit, Michigan area since 1978. For 45 years I've done work for corporations and industrial firms, ad agencies, universities, trade, business and consumer magazines, healthcare organizations, and non-profits. It's been a good long run that's allowed me to meet facinating people in all walks of life, and to observe other cultures in my travels to Ghana, Japan, China and Europe.

I'm now scaling back, and though I don't like the term retirement, I have to admit I'm easing into it. I'll keep adding photos to my Alamy stock file, but I've stepped back from active assignment work except for select editorial and educational assignments
